43-year-old Female Wants Your Help To Survive and Get out of Debts, Won't you Help Her?

Here is a heartfelt story of needs: "I am a 43 year old female. I have no children and I am not married. My story is not that of someone that most people would be sympathetic to, but I would like to be as honest as possible. I lost my job in Dec 2011. When I was 23, I graduated from medicine school, got involved with someone for 5 years then he left leaving me with nothing, taking all that I earned too. I got my first loan, mortgage and credit card which was my first mistake. I borrowed to pay for my mortgage and ended up having difficulty paying all my bills. Over the years, I I worked none stop but not earning enough to cover my daily expenses even with my degrees and experience – I found myself taking out new accounts and racking up the bills. I moved to Italy thinking a new start would be good, lived there for ten years but still could not earn enough to pay off my debts let alone live comfortably. Again, this is my fault, getting mixed up with people who took advantage of my generosity as I always helped others even if it left me with nothing, I was left yet again with no money to support myself. My father passed away when I was 23 and my mother 10 years later, I am an only child. I decided to return to England, but getting a job here is even more difficult than in Italy. No one wants to employ you if you are over 35yrs, I’ve been struggling for the last two years, sometimes going without food for days living on tea and water. I have sold just about everything I own. I was hoping to make a dent in the bills I had mounting, which had gotten out of hand. I was falling behind and couldn’t make all the payments. Selling off all the stuff I bought seemed like a good start, but the bills keep coming. I am asking for some help with these bills and rent so I can get my head above water. I need to find a new flat as the flat I’m living is extremely noisy, I have not slept in months since the new neighbours moved in last June. I have not taken out any more loans and cancelled all my credit cards, I’m in so much debt that I will be evicted from my flat if I don’t come up with the rent by next week. I haven’t paid my bills either and soon they will cut me off too I don’t pay them. I am actively looking for work but due to my age it’s proving very difficult even though I am highly experienced in my field. I would humbly accept any help that someone is willing to offer me. I really want to live debt free for the first time since I left my parents home. I made a promise to myself that enough was enough, no more borrowing and if I got enough money to get me out of my black hole, I would help someone else who needs help just like me. I just need help to get back on my feet, get a new flat and pay off my debts and I promised myself never to get into this situation ever again." My paypal donation button link:

Needy Family Needs Your Help Now

Please help this family make ends meet. Here is their paypal email address where you can send donations: Paypal email @ needyfamily609@gmail.com Here is the post: "To Whom It May Concern: My name is Jean and I am a mother of three. I am married to William, for 4 years and we are NJ natives. I am a caregiver for my 60 year old mother who was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Failure in January of 2011. In June of 2010 my mother came from Michigan to live with me with the intention of helping me and my husband by watching our children during our working hours. My husband and I both work very long hours, and the children would have been required to spend long periods of time alone. So my mother came to help us fill the gap. In October of 2010, my mother’s health took a turn for the worse and it was continually getting worse as the year progressed. By January of 2011 my mother was unable to stand for any length of time and was always short of breath. On February 10th I admitted my mother to the emergency room @ ACMC/Mainland. She was immediately diagnosed with kidney failure. She was admitted to ICU and on February 12th she had a cardiac arrest, due to toxic levels of magnesium, in her system. My mother suffered a sustained brain injury and to this day has a deficit she will have to live with forever. This deficit has taken away her ability to drive, live on her own, or be without some type of supervision. My family suffered an extreme financial crisis that is ongoing and increasingly more devastating. I was out of work on FMLA for 8 weeks without pay. I was given $1200 in disability payments. I was allowed back to work, but with a significant decrease in pay and a change of position. We have fallen behind in our bills in a catastrophic way. It seems the more we pay the more we owe. In fact, for the last week we have been without running water. Our gas has been off for three weeks and we use that for hot water, heat, and cooking. Our bank fees for the month of September have been astronomical (well over $400) for NSF charges and Service fees. This is just spiraling out of control. The children attend a local charter school and Pleasantville High school. Each child only has one pair of shoes and one uniform because I can’t get ahead of the curve to get them additional ones. The little ones need their school logo embroidered on the uniforms but that cost more than the shirt did. We feel helpless and without some type of help we will continue to be a homeless family of six. We are currently living in a motel on the edge of our town. This is a pay by the hour type of place but it is the only place that will charge us by the week and will allow one of use to sleep on the floor. We are soliciting any type of help you can give. Please be mindful that we are hard working members of society. We have been working since we got out of high school. We are not beggars and we are willing to give back in the form of community service. All I know is that we need help! Immediately or we’ll be past saving! Thank you, Jean Elam Atlantic Auto Group, 08234 Paypal email @ needyfamily609@gmail.com"

Sending Money To Loved Ones Should Be Safer: Sending International Money Transfers or Remittances

The new rules that are set to start in one year have been in the pipeline for a long time. Consumers who have relatives overseas needed some type of protection when dealing with all these international money transfers. Soon these companies will be subjected to the scrutiny of the federal consumer regulations. At least, somebody will be paying attention the practices of these money transfers. Everyone hopes that the sad stories of lost or vanished funds will stop. The hope is that hidden fees will be stopped for good.

Here is a brief summary of what's being reported in the news media thus far about the topic:

Customers who send international money transfers will soon be entitled to clearer cost disclosures.
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau on Friday issued new rules governing remittances, which are often used by immigrants to send money to family back home.

The rules also require companies to disclose any fees, the exchange rate and the amount that will ultimately be paid out to the recipient in local currency. Companies will also be required to investigate disputes and to give customers at least 30 minutes to cancel a transaction.

The rules take effect after one year.

The CFPB, which was created as part of the nation's overhaul of financial regulations, was required by law to issue the rules on remittances by Jan. 21. International money transfers previously had not been subject to federal consumer regulations.

Frustrations with the industry include complaints about hidden costs, missing funds or funds that never arrive at all, according to Ruth Susswein, a spokeswoman for Consumer Action, an advocacy group. She said customers can also face difficulty getting companies to resolve such problems.

The CFPB noted that consumers transfer tens of billions of dollars from the U.S. to foreign countries each year. Richard Cordray, who was appointed as the agency's first director this month, noted that the new rules will help consumers compare prices and hold companies accountable for any errors.

"People sending money to their loved ones in another country should not have to worry about hidden fees," Cordray said.

A Western Union Co. spokesman, Tom Fitzgerald, said the company plans to be compliant with the rules by the effective date. He said the company already provides customers with disclosures on fees, exchange rates and payouts.

"We agree that consumers will benefit if all remittance providers are held to the same requirements," he said.

MoneyGram International Inc. also said in a statement that it gives customers information about fees and rates and responds to complaints in a timely manner. The company said it is reviewing the rules to see if any adjustments will be needed.

--------

The Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform Act as presented by ConsumerFinance.gov/regulations.....

"The rules require companies to give a disclosure to a consumer before the consumer pays for a remittance transfer. The disclosure must list:
The exchange rate,
Fees, and
The amount of money to be delivered.
Companies must also provide a receipt or proof of payment that repeats the information in the first disclosure. The receipt must also tell consumers the date when the money will arrive.
Companies must provide the disclosures in English. Sometimes companies must also provide the disclosures in other languages.
Other protections
The rules also require that:
Consumers get 30 minutes (and sometimes more) to cancel a transfer. Consumers can get their money back if they cancel.
Companies must investigate if a consumer reports a problem with a transfer. For certain errors, consumers can get a refund or transfer without charge the money that did not arrive as promised.
Companies that provide remittance transfers are responsible for mistakes made by certain people who work for them.
Coverage
The rules apply to remittance transfers if they are:
More than $15,
Made by a consumer in the United States, and
Sent to a person or company in a foreign country.
This includes many types of transfers, including wire transfers.
The rules apply to most companies that offer remittance transfers, including:
Banks,
Thrifts,
Credit unions, and
Money transmitters."

50-year-old Mother with Bright Daughter Would Like to Pay Rent, Needs Your Help and Has Paypal Account

Please find a way to contribute something to this mother find solutions to her financial situation. She needs help with her rent.

"I am a 50 year old single mom with a ... year old daughter that just started high school, I work full-time and have been at my job for over 9 years.I have been financially struggling the past several months, no child support. My daughter is very bright, she's in the band, ROTC, Drama,Debate Team, and taking all honor classes...I am so proud of her and she deserves more and I don't have it to give to her because I am so behind on my bills by pushing things forward because of car problems and making sure that she has what she NEEDS first, most of the time I get food from my brother or go to the grocery store and know I don't have it but we have to eat.I have not finish paying band fees (still owe $285),rent behind, utilities late (paying half each time I get paid, $200), the only way that I can have a few dollars is pushing something forward....well I can't push anymore....just praying that it will get better. I have been in a very, very, depressed mood, living off overdraft and feel like I'm working for nothing. I don't want to go anywhere but to work and run my daughter back and forth to practice. If I could get help paying my rent which is $550 it will help me a whole. I get paid twice a month and sometimes once, If I could get the rent caught up I could get all my other bills back on schedule as my pay periods fall.I also have issues at work which does not make dealing with things any easier. If I could catch my rent up it will clear my mind tremendously and I can focus more on my daughter mentally instead of how am i going to pay this or that. The most important thing is I have noticed how distant I have been with her and she needs me mentally and physically, I want to be able to smile and joke around with here again instead of taking everything so personal...in which later i apologize to her and it is okay. I would like to thank you in advance and would appreciate whatever help we can get! Once I get back on my feet I would love to help someone else out....I really feel the pain.

Mother of Disabled Boy Pleads for Your Assistance: She Needs $36,000 for a Van with a Lift

"Hi. I am the mother of J. M, a young boy who was born with Nemaline Myopathy Neuromuscular Disease (one of the diseases covered by MDA). Jason is 13, is in a wheelchair, has a trach and ventilator, and has home nursing care. Each year we give back to our community in some way. We generally contribute as much as we can save for: BACH (Brazoria County Association for Citizens with Handicaps), The Pregnancy Help Center, MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association), and Salvation Army. In addition, we consistently give clothing and household item donations to World In Need. My family and I are asking for donations for the purchase of a wheelchair van with lift. Our goal is $36,000. Any kind gesture from you would be welcome because we are a low-income, disabled family who doesn't make enough money to finance a van on our own. Thanks and regards, Jessica Address: Jessica Mackey 324 Cemetery Road #11 Angleton, Texas 77515"

Help Needed for the Burke Family

I am at my wit's end. I was laid off two years ago and have not been able to find a job for two years, from which at he same time i also was dealing with ending a failing and physically/mentally abusive marriage needless to say he does not even acknowledge the fact that he has children who are suffering financially, so with no help from my ex husband, i have no friends and family who is willing to financially help or support me in this terrible time in my life and i am a single mother with eight children who range in ages 16yrs- 3yrs I humbly beg whom ever can help me keep my utilites on; which i have recieved notices for interruption and discontinuance as soon as next week; Please help to feed and clothe my family, I have birthday's back to back, the holiday's approaching and i have nothing to give them, I feel alone and like such a failure, i can't seem to stop crying and even considering immoral options in order to make ends meet for my kid's, they didn't ask to be in such an unfair situation. I thank you in advance for opening your hearts to me and reading my story.

Mother and Daughter Want Your Assistance

Please God be our miracle. I am writing this with my heart and soul ripped wide open. There is no way to explain how it feels to have your only child crying and screaming in a full panic attack saying she does not need to live and that there is no hope for us to ever have a chance at having peace and happiness. I will try to explain our situation, but for you to really know our story I would have to write a book. You see at 36 God gave me the greatest gift, my daughter. From the day of her birth, her father became verbally abusive to her and myself. It has just gotten worse and worse for 14 years. He has called her every four letter word every imagined. He has totally destroyed the most loving and caring child I have ever known. He refuses to work more than a few months a year and while I was working we were able to survive. My daughter has disabilities that have only been made worse by the situation we are in. When my mother died, my daughter was 8 and I had to leave my job I had worked at for 15 years, because there was no one else to care for her. Then in August 2008, I took my daughter and moved in with my elderly father. We finally felt happy and yet the man that said he hated us so would not leave us alone. Then on April 1, 2009, our world crumbled. While driving in morning rush hour, I suffered a stroke and somehow with the help of the angels made it to a parking lot. I was rushed to the ER. My daughter came home to find her grandfather dead in the bed and me no where to be found. The neighbor called the hospitals and found me. You can not imagine what my child went through that day, I still cannot. After they brought me back from death, I battled to survive from my organs failing and was in the hospital for 35 days. Thus making it so the man we tried to escape was thrown right back in our lives. I have been struggling to get back to normal, but I still am unable to work and I cannot get disability because I can not afford the doctors. He has only gotten worse with the abuse since he thinks we have no other choice. He has not worked since February and I am down to my last $10 and every bill is 2 months late. I have tried every organization and program I know of and I just cannot get any help. I may not be able to work out of the home, but I am very artistic and want to start a refurbishing art business and sell all the wonders collected in my parents garage on eBay, but I need money to buy supplies and pay the bills until they take off. I want him gone. My daughter goes to school now online, so I desperately need to keep all the utilities on. We live in my parents house that they left me, it has holes in the floors and electric to only one half, but it is all we have and I still owe the bank $4700 on it. Please help me for once give my daughter a chance at a happy life, one where we can go on to be successful and help other people who need help with no where to turn. Anything anyone can give will be the most wonderful thing and you will surely be blessed. My Paypal email address is dmbb61218@hotmail.com. Thank you for reading this and God bless you.

41-Year-old Cancer Survivor Needs Your Help

Here is the request. Decide whether you can help this gentleman!

" I am a 41 year old construction worker who has always paid his
bills on time, until Jan. of 2009. That was the year I was diagnosed
with Kidney Cancer. I am a hard-working, reliable employee who has not
called in sick in over 8 years. That is to say, gotten up in the
morning, and phoned in, unable to work my shift for the day. I would
need to be on my death bed to do so, and have come very close. I
worked for 3 days, moving equipment weighing 50 lbs, with a collapsed
lung. I finally went to the ER when I knew that the crew would manage
without me, and I was in too much pain to even sleep.
Why? Am I an idiot? perhaps. Is it a good work ethic, or fear of
losing my job? a llittle of both. I have medical insurance through my
employer, but it does not cover utilities, food, gas. I still pay $65
each time I see a Dr.,which was often 5 times or more a month until 5
months ago. It does not cover the full cost of my prescriptions,
either. I earn $40,000 per year, on a salary and am blessed when
compared to most others. However, my crewmates think I am nuts for
insisting that I work my scheduled shifts, planning 3 or 4 DR visits
in a day, to minimize my time off. The fact is, that no-one else is
going to pay my way through life for me. I have always been self-
sufficient.
I have troubled over the decision to seek help for years. Do I
deserve it? I think so, but I don't qualify for many programs. Besides
there are those who are less fortunate, who need them more. Do I feel
sorry for myself? NO WAY! I saw the sun rise today, and will probably
be here to do the same tomorrow. But, as much as it pains me to do so,
I can no longer continue without help. I have an $8,000 loan I HAD to
take out, or Rocky Mountain Health maint. Org. was going to cancel
what little isurance I have. I could not keep up with the co-pays, and
uncovered expenses. I have gone without meds that would have made me
feel better, because they were too expensive ($300 0r more per month).
I cancelled DR visits, in order to cut down on my bills. I gave up
fishing, and most camping trips. I earned extra money cleaning cars at
my home on weekends, or doing online surveys for $4 each. I'm a
fighter, I won't quit, but without the proper care, I won't last long
either. I can't sell my 1994 Ford Ranger-it's my only car. I live in a
mobile home, which is paid for, but I am unable to sell or refinance
due to the economy, and lack of a permanent foundation. Both of these
items are in bad shape. Through it all, I have tried to help out those
who are less fortunate with my time, advice, and non-monetary things.
I need help, to pay off medical bills, and enable me to rebuild my
credit. I tore up all of my cards when I got sick, and signed up for
debt consolodation, which did not help, and made matters worse. I am
now being garnished $600 a month for past credit card and medical
bills, going on the second of what would be 5 years to pay off this
debt.
I figured that if I could reach 10,000 people, who would send me
$1 each, I could get the boost I needed. Call me a bum, or a begger if
you wish. Ignore me if you feel I am undeserving of help. I made my
bed and I must lie in it. Hope does spring eternal, and I am praying
to reach those 10,000 kind souls. I am trying to keep this a secret,
because I will continue to help others. I am afraid that if they knew,
they would no longer seek my assistance feeling I had too much on my
plate as it is. But, as long as I can breathe, and enjoy the sunrise,
I can provide help to my fellow Americans. So, if they approve this
ad, please help me. You can donate to my pay-pal through my blog at
http://needy1inco.blogspot.com. I will publish more info and updates
there. Words of encouragement help as well, or if you just need to
talk, or some advice yourself. I am there. Thank you for your time.

and noone is willing to help.

Single Income Family Man Needs Your Help Now

We are a single income family of 4. We have no insurance for medical
or dental. We have been struggling the last few months just to keep
our heads above water and haven't gotten to the point where if we
don't get some kind of help, we are going to sink. There is nowhere
and no one that we can turn to, so I am gonna give this a try.

These are the things I need help with. If these things are taken care
of, then we can get back on our feet and breath a little.
1. Everything we own that is worth anything has been pawned-to get it
back will cost about $500
2. Had to take a title loan on the car-borrowed $600 payback will run
about $1600
3. 4 tires for car-about $400
4. Dental work for me before I lose all my front teeth-7 fillings
will run about $1400
If I had somewhere else to turn or some solution of any kind I would.
This is my last resort. Like I said, these are the things that I NEED
taken care of to catch us up and put us on the right track. I have a
9 and a 7 year old that I have to depend on other people giving them
clothes, as for us 2 adults we are wearing clothes that are anywhere
from 3-10 years old. We always put the children first.
I do what I can to help others (give clothes, provide rides, etc.) I
just can't seem to catch a break myself.
Any little bit will be greatly appreciated.

Patient with Fungal Disease Mucormycosis Needs Help For Treatment

Patient struck with rare disease, needs your financial contributions.

"Dear Friends,

Our father Mr. Mangaloo Ram, belonging to Bilaspur city in the state
of Chhattisgarh in India, is suffering from a very rare disease
Mucormycosis. This disease is a fungal infection and affects the
sinuses and invades the brain. It is life-threatening and the cost of
treatment is highly expensive. He is currently undergoing treatment at
Apollo Hospitals, Bilaspur, India.

In our father’s case, it has already invaded the brain. The treatment
involves the administration of anti-fungal and antibiotic injections.
As I have mentioned, the cost of treatment is very high, which
approximately is as high as $1000/day (One thousand dollars per day)
and the treatment period ranges from 6 to 8 weeks. We have been
getting him treated for the past two weeks. We are left with around
$10,000 (Ten Thousand dollars approx.). The only positive thing we see
now is that our father’s condition is improving, but the unfortunate
aspect is that we are left with resources for a maximum of ten days.
Beyond this we will not be able to continue the medication until
unless some financial support comes to our rescue.

We need an assistance to treat him for a further period of 5 weeks
which will involve a cost of $35,000 (Thirty Five Thousand Dollars),
which to us is, at present, beyond imagination. Hence, it is our

Unemployed and Uninsured Wants Money for Medications and Bills

Find a way to help this person.

"Hi everyone,

I left my job a month ago because the conditions there were too much
to handle. I suffer from severe social and generalized anxiety as well
as depression. Only recently have I started taking meds, because I
couldn't find a clinic that serviced the uninsured.

I tried to apply for unemployment, but was denied and now I only have
1.70 in my checking account. Currently I need money for my Paxil
prescription, food, bus money and a few credit card payments. Here is
my link below if you would like to donate:

Your Help is Needed Here: Find a way to help this family stay in their home

I would not be posting this if it were not for my daughter, a 20 year
old cancer fighter who has been sick most of her life. I am risking
ridicule from family and friends for going this route, but my fear
overrides my need for popularity.

We have reached a point where, due to lay offs and ungodly amount of
bills we are on the cusp of losing our house, utilities and we are
struggling to keep food in the house. I have just been hired full time
after years of frustrating contract work and things are looking like
they might start to level out. However, it will be weeks before I see
a check and I already have disconnect and termination notices. We are
in desperate need of assistance to make sure we get through the next
few weeks. We simply will not make it otherwise.

I will not post a specific amount. Needless to say it is substantial
in an economy like ours. I do not want to generate that kind of
pressure. Anything helps.

Please understand that any help provided will be paid forward when my
means improve via cash donations and donated services (i.e Homeless
feedings). I am not asking for anything I would not be willing to
provide others were I able to at the moment.

Donations can be made via paypal in my daughters website. Development
on the site has been suspended until we can get out of this mess.

Thank you in advance.

Sherri's Sad Stories of Debt, Cell Phone Shut Off, and Inability to Pay Utilities

Hi my name is Sherri. I have fallen on hands down, without a doubt the
hardest times I've ever had. As embarrassing as this is for me to do I
don't know where else to turn. I am 3 months pregnant, my child's
father, (my husband) was killed tragically exactly 2 month's ago in a
car accident by a drunk driver. I have no family, I never really knew
my father, he left when I was 2. My mother was my best friend and my
world but she too, was killed in a drunk driving accident as well with
my stepfather in 2002. I am 30 years old and well educated with solid
job history. I know everything will be alright after my baby is born
and I am able to get back on my feet. My concern is as of right now, I
am behind in all of my bills. I have 34 days to come up with my rent
or I am evicted, all utilities are pending disconnection (got some
help from LEAP which bought me a little time), my car payment is two
months past due, My cell phone is shut off. I am going to lose
everything. I am not eating healthy at all for being pregnant. I eat
as much as I can when I can but it's not near enough. I feel starved
non stop. I am very concerned about my baby's health. This is my last
resort and my plea to all of humanity!! I know there are some loving,
honest people out there that will help me. Help Me Please!! When my
time comes to hand out help I will not think twice. Thank You so very
much and God Bless!

Author and Poet Fell on Hard Times, See how you can help him!

My name is Marcel Duvoix, and I'm 35 years old. I'm an author and
poet. The reason why I need help, is because the company that I
previously worked for, downsized due to the tough economy, leaving me
with no income. I've barely subsisted on my personal savings that
have since run out, and on unemployment benefits, that have also ran
out. So, I have no savings or income whatsoever, and no way to pay the
rent or basic necessities. I haven't found a job yet, and no one to
help out. Please help me!, as I'm about to lose my small rented room,
and I have no where to go. I want to continue to improve my life, and
to help others too, so please help me out, and I'll repay your
kindness to me, by passing it on to others; in anyway I can. Thanks a
million!!!, and may God bless you richly. You can reach me at:

Every Boy Should Have a Puppy - A Project and a Nice Story

For a loooooong time, I’ve wanted to adopt a puppy. We couldn’t have
one when I was a kid (allergies, parents, etc.), then for a long time
I lived in the city. I know, I know, there are plenty of city dogs and
it’s quite possible to give them wonderful lives, but I just wasn’t
sure my lifestyle would allow for that. Personally, for my ambition
as a dog caretaker, I resolved not to seriously entertain bringing
home a canine companion until I had a fenced yard that he could enjoy
and relax in without being leashed or strictly supervised. Just under
two years ago, I moved into my very first house, with a great big yard
and a nice tall fence. Perfect, right?

Seemingly, yes. At first, the house needed a lot of work. The
previous occupants had kept dogs, but were not terribly responsible
about it. So, there was a lot of rehabbing to be done to floors,
walls, woodwork and carpet. I really wanted to bring a puppy home,
but I had to do it right. Have the infrastructure and resources all in
place, really set us up for success, y’know? The plan was to adopt
near the beginning of summer vacation (I’m a teacher), so we’d have
plenty of time to bond, and train, and acclimate and play and
socialize and... you get the picture. Things were looking good, and
then... I lost my job.

Again, not wanting to leave the door open for failure, Project Puppy
had to be postponed. I have a second (and now a third... and half a
fourth) job, and some savings and other resources, so it’s not like
I’m in real danger of becoming homeless. BUT, taking on additional,
non-elective expenses right now wouldn’t be fiscally responsible.
Unless, of course, I have help; that’s where you come in.

It occurs to me, that oftentimes in the community of dog lovers, that
when someone has a litter or finds a stray or has to move, and looks
to place their pooch in a home rather than abandon them to a shelter,
they reach out to their networks of friends and fellow-dog-lovers. So
often I’ve overheard the phrase, “Ohhh, I’d love to, but...” don’t
have the space/money/time for another dog, the wife/husband/landlord
would kill me, I’ll ask around... I know that many donate generously
to the ASPCA and various rescue organizations, on top of whatever is
spent providing furry friends with toys and treats galore. I thought
that perhaps, some of these dog lovers who have already filled their
own homes to capacity with paws and leashes, might be willing to
contribute to keeping at least one pup out of “the system” and in a
comfortable home; and Project Puppy was born.

If you’ve got the dime, I’ve got the time. The house is in order, the
backyard is all set, I’ve done a fair amount of research and
dogsitting. I’ve got a small network of dog-friends to socialize with
and a reliable de facto sitter if I should ever need to travel out of
town. The last missing piece is the available fundage to provide food,
equipment, vet care, etc. I figure if I can scrape together $1000,
that should be adequate for a years’ worth of normal care. Maybe a
little more, considering the initial outlay of bowls and a leash and a
bed. If you support the cause, and care to throw a dollar or two in
the pot, I’ll squirrel these funds away specifically for this purpose,
and every little bit helps. Like child support, except this child is
kinda hairy and has really harsh breath and I will never ask you for a
paternity test. If you can’t afford to donate, but know someone who
would, maybe you’ll forward them a link so they can come read?

That’s about as far as I’ve thought this web plea through. My owner
taught me not to beg, but I’ve a feeling that if enough people just
read this site, I won’t need to. I’ll keep the site updated with how
close we are to the goal, and hopefully once we succeed, pictures/
videos/updates on the little guy’s progress. Thanks for your time, and
your generosity!
